Hello,

when de win XP PRO boots it takes like a minute doing nothing, i have
disable the LAN interfaces that i am not using.

This didn´t happened before i installed a 120 GB SATA drive, and i have
updated the BIOS to the last version and the SATA drivers.

The win XP has the SP1 and all the critical updates installed.

I think that the system is trying to boot or configure something, but i
have everything configured.

Any clues that could help me??

TIA

Martull

PD: if the mobo has the bus at 400, the BIOS config shuld be 200 (200 x 2 =
400), right? Now i have it with 166 (2 x 166 = 333) and when it has 200 the
system wont boot. Do i have anything configured wrong?

If you don't have a Athlon XP 3200+, wich his the only one rated for 400FSB,
this is not your problem, Do you have any special program loading (antivirus
are known for that kind of problem....)
