I have the A7N8X-Deluxe with 3000+ CPU and 2 512MB in slots 2&3.

I can operate in 166Mz duel channel mode with no problems. When I bump
to 200Mz the system come on but the computer can not find the file
ntoskrnl.exe in the Windows\system32 directory. The file is there but
will not load.

I have a Maxtor 160GB on Primary Master and the SATA disabled on MB.

No overclocking.

If your FSB is at 166MHz (depends on your CPU), your system will perform
better with the RAM at 166MHz, than at 200MHz.

Always keep the RAM at the same speed as your FSB except in extreme cases.

Personally I'd suggest you set your FSB to 200MHz and a slightly lower
multiplier (if possible) so as not to overclock and then run your RAM at
200MHz as well. If that doesn't work you can try a FSB and RAM of 183MHz or
something and again change the multiplier to give you the same or similar
CPU speed.

Is the reason I can not boot the windows files the ram? I pass all
the power on tests at 200Mz/100% but the files aren't loading.
Is that RAM or HD?

I tried the FSB at 180 and MEM at 100%. I increased the multiplier to
12.5 (2250) .

I compared the Passmark benchmark tests and my results went from 424
to 308.
Set back then it went back to 424.

Likely, I tend to get a problem with ntldr if I go mental with frequency or
timings.

What RAM do you have?

Use memtest86, it'll let you know if it's your RAM or something else.

Then something is wrong.
