A7N8X Deluxe HD activity light

I have 2 Maxtor SATA drives - to keep it short - where/how do I hook
up to my Antec case so that the HD activity light lights up. Is that a
question for Antec or is that based on the Asus mb? Thanks.
 
No such thing ad HD LED's
they are IDE LED's............
if you have CDR drives on the IDE cables then when you put a CD in the Led
lights..........
if they were "HD"LED's then they would not light when accessing a CD.

The same place as for IDE drives! The 2 pins standing "on their own"
just inboard of the SM bus connector near the block of other case
panel connectors. The documentation doesn't say this explicitly, but a
LED connected to these pins responds to IDE _or_ SATA disk activity.
