A7N8X Deluxe from Newegg (v2)??

Hi -

This is a little off topic for this thread, but since Newegg is
mentioned I thought I'd ask. I RMA'd an A-I-W 9700 Pro which they
received on Nov 19th. They haven't sent out a new yet, and I'm
wondering if this is a typical situation or not. To be fair, I've
heard sources for this card are drying up, so that may be part of it.
Anyone have any ideas or similar experiences?

I'm ready to order a A7N8X Deluxe from NewEgg but not sure whether the
boards are v2 or not. Any way of telling if it doesn't say version 2 on
specs?

It'll be Rev2.0, I doubt there are any Rev1.0s left these days...

New egg has a very high volume of boards, I would think they would be rev.
2 by now. If you call them you are likely to get the response "I dont have
access to the boards to check" . If you email them you are more likly to
get a answer.

It should be a v2.00 (400/333/266/200 FSB).
I bought the plain A7N8X from newegg about 7 months ago and it was a
version 2.00 board.

Thanks. I assume that by showing the 400 mhz spec it might be a rev 2 board
but not sure what the rev 1.x boards showed as top speed(333 maybe) I know
the older boards will hit 400 now with the new bios for them

Yes, at newegg the v1.xx boards were advertised as 333/266/200, they may
still have some of those so just be careful which one you click (buy).

Hi,
I bought a refurb A7N8X Deluxe board from them and it was a rev 2.0! So the
refurbs are even rev 2.0, mostly, I have heard of some getting 1.xx but most
have been 2.0

If you're ordering from NewEgg, you can count on a revision 2.

NewEgg is the best---and they sell so many that you'll always get the most
current one. Count on it.

Even my refurb A7N8X-dlx from newegg was a 2.0 version.

Hi,
Just got a new MOBO from NewEgg. It is a version 2.0. Where ever you buy
A7N98X-DLX it should tell you on the Asus Box it comes in, printed outside,
"400 FSB Ready" without having to go into the inside contents. Hope this
helps.

The only problem with that is that the older boards are now capable of 400
mhz with newer bioses.
 
I have found their RMA dept. to be very freindly and efficient, even when
the return was due to my error.
With a bad board it takes a few days for them to test it and ship out a new
one.
 
A bit late for this thread -- but I ordered my (new) A7N8X from Newegg
over a month ago and it was a Rev 2.0.
