If I install a 2600 cpu (333), pc2700 memory, will the mother board bios
auto select and set up the fsb etc for the 2600 cpu? I do not want to mess
around with bios fsb settings or have to set ratios. Also does the mother
board come with a sata floppy so I can load the sata drivers after I press
f6 when I load xp? The board I have now makes me load xp with an adaptec
sata card installed and after I comp the xp installation I can remove the
card and use the sata connections on the mother board.

Yes.

Why? Don't you think it's worth spending 5-10 minutes configuring a new
system?

There are no ratios to set on the nForce - PCI and AGP buses are usually
locked to their correct speed by default.

Don't think so, it's on the CD. I downloaded the latest driver and stuck
that on a floppy before I started.

sata card installed and after I comp the xp installation I can remove the
card and use the sata connections on the mother board.

Confused about that statement. I don't see the difference.

Just download the .32 driver now and stick it on a floppy, put it somewhere
safe (not too safe, you'll forget where it is :-) and use it when you
install Windows on the new setup.

Many times it defaults to a safe speed and you may have to set it.
Just watch the POST screen and if it says something other than 2600+
you will have to set the speed.

You are entirely correct - the multiplier is set correctly and the FSB to
100MHz, so you need to set that.
