A7M266 Query

I have a client who has the A7M266 mobo. Try as I might, I cannot get
UDMA/ATA100 working correctly. He has a Samsung SP2001H hard disk which
supports ATA100.

When the system fires up it reports the drive at the summary screen as UDMA
ATA100 but once XP loads the Properties for the Primary IDE controller
indicate that it is running in PIO Mode.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Don't know what the prob is, but you may be able to find an answer here. It
