A7M266 board, 1.33ghz athlon and 256meg of 200 mhz ddr-sdram

My question is will the processor work with the 200mhz speed ddr-sdram. In
the manual it matches the cpu just with 266 mhz ram but all the other
processors on the list show speed matches with both 200 and 266. Did AMD
make the processor only in the 266mhz version?? A friend of mine said that
it would still work, just the processor bus speed would back down to 200
mhz. I currently have the mobo set to be jumperless, so it automatically
picks up the processor, if it is possible to run the processor bus at 200mhz
should i set the jumpers manually on the board, the processor is getting hot
and everything but it isn't starting up. The harddrive activity light comes
on then goes off after a couple of minutes but the monitor neves switches on
or anything. Thanks ahead of time for any input into this question. If you

It looks like it will work, but not run at 400. I have PC 2100 DDR
overclocked 140/280 with an Athlon 2100 running with no problems. Check out
this great A7M266 forum. You can also look in there for the bios bible. They
have a list for the optimal settings for your bios.
