Hi folks:

According to the Asus website, I can put a 160GB drive into my machine using
an A7A266 mobo provided that I have bios 1011 or higher. I have 1013 and
Windows 2000 only recognizes the drive as 128GB.....grrr....I manually
inputted the hard drive data into the mobo setup, and it recognized it as a
160GB drive. If anyone can share some wisdom on this I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Windows 2000 requires SP3 or higher, in order to see drives above 137GB.

For more info, checkout this page:

The solution after SP3 is installed, is detailed in the MSKB as 305098
