I sent one of my users an A2007 runtime file. He has a computer with XP and
A2003. After the runtime.exe download, the runtime installation appeared to
work. But, his A2003 programs "went wild". Buttons wouldn't function for
example. I can't find any cautions in the microsoft write-ups. Is there
some thing that has to be done to make the runtime work when A2003 is
present? When he uninstalled the exe file, all started working again, after
several tries.
I know that I could have made an mdb file for him, but intent is to send a
runtime file to all users. That way they can run the program on any of their
computers with XP or later, even those without Access.
Thanks in advance
