A window for book marking (I.E.) keeps coming up on the Desktop

It has (The page you are looking for cannot be found) I
haven't tried to BookMark anything. How do I get rid of
this thing? I looked in Help for I.E. and found, to my
understanding, BookMark is supposed to be in Netscape. I
found nothing else that would help.
Help will be appreciated.
 
Thank you, Colin. I had not thought of that. I've been
doing a lot of antivirus scanning and installed an anti
virus program which gave problems. I thought it was
something I had messed up.

For info it's just taken me three days solid work to remove some nasty
adware from my wifes PC! It was making her PC unusable with pop-ups occuring
every few seconds. The latest versions of Adaware, Pest Patrol and Spybot
S&D actually failed to remove it this time (or at least they removed most of
it but it came right back after rebooting). In the end I had to use msconfig
and taskmanager to manually kill about 60 processes that were keeping the
adware alive.

As far as I can tell this nasty stuff (Webhancer, Roings and others)
appeared after she visited a web site that helps people with tips for
computer games. She didn't install any new S/W, just visited a web site! How
it got in I don't know as her PC was kept upto date Windows Update
regularly.

Once her PC was clean I installed Spywareblaster and Spywareguard free from
here:

Time will tell if this works.
