A very strange thing

I have RC2 and also 5840 installed.
All settings are the same for both.
But in the layout settings for RC2 if I select folder bar then I get a
vertical scrollbar, but when I select it in 5840 I just get a folder bar
across the top.
Somethin is not right somewhere.
Anyone???

Are you sure about the labels? The Folder *bar* is a medium gray bar that runs
the entire width of the window. Clicking on the name in the Folder bar drops
down a navigation tree which then disappears when you release the mouse button.
The Folder *list* is a 3rd panel on the left side that shows the navigation
tree. It remains visible at all times unless you click the X in its upper-right
corner.
 
Folder List gives the folder tree view. Folder bar gives the dropdown bar
on the top of the message list. I don't have any problems in 5744 showing
that.

I don't have access to 5840.
