A very dumb question re: clipboard

I tried posting an image of my screen earlier on using "Purrint" - it was a
..bmp file. The system wouldn't post it as it was too big. The other
option was to save to clipboard where I assume I could then ccp the text
part of it to a post (was a pic of my Spybot S & D findings). The only
trouble is, I don't know where to go to get the clipboard. Yeh, I
know.....duh!

You just paste it where you want. You can't paste bmp into Outlook Express. Paste it into Paint and save as a jpeg or png and insert into OE.

Hi

You can paste whatever is in the Clipboard - you don't need to access it.
However:

Programs>Accessories>Clip Board

or from Start>Run type

clipbrd

By the way, you don't want to post an image or add an attachment if you're
posting to a test-only group, as this one is. If you're posting elsewhere,
that's fine.

This is
a/ not a test group
b/ [assume above is typo] It IS a binary group. With an MS enforced limit of about 200K (if posting on usenet whatever your ISP does). You cannot post copyright material here is the only restriction.

Hi

Where did you get the idea that this a test NG?

OK kids, quit bickering. I still don't know how to copy automatically the
text content of Spybot's output. I had to copy in longhand, so to speak.

Hi

Where did you get the idea that this a test NG?

I meant "text." But apparently I was wrong on that, too. Unless,of course
we use "test' in the context of "quiz" which might also mean "question" in
which case, people do ask questions....nah, never mind, let's just figure
that some days I can't type.

using windows xp the name of the file is clipbrd.exe
(note spelling) find it using search (it is under
windows\system32) right click - drag it to desk top -
create shortcut. Use shortcut to view clipboard contents.
Under prev win versions it was easier to find under
accessories after adding the program.
