well I too have the issue with my new vista laptop crashing my router which
then needs to be reset before working properly, I only just now have delayed
this for any length of time by unchecking the Internet Protocol
VersionTCP/IPv6)and IPv4) I hope this works.
It seems the common advice is to check the firmware in the router, or do
this or that to the router
My question is, because I travel all the time ,and need to connect to
routers all accross the country I will have no control over the router
settings so is there a definite fix for this internally or will I continue to
crash poor peoples routers coast to coast?
