I like ExplorerXP, but I need a thumbnails view. Any programs that can do
this? Thanks.

I highly recommend xplorer2 Lite (http://www.netez.com/xplorer2/x2lite.htm).
Beautiful piece of software. It's biggest limitation, though, is its lack of
Unicode filename support, which likely isn't an issue anyway. (It's omitted
in the free version for compatibility with Windows 98.) Again, highly
recommended. Very powerful.

Does xplorer2 Lite overwrite ExplorerXP preempting ExplorerXP use? Maybe
I'd like the choice to go back to ExplorerXP.

John, your web site has a nice format.

After years of 2XExplorer, I will try xplorer. BTW, this is a direct link.

They are two totally separate programs, so the answer is no, xplorer2 Lite
does NOT overwrite Explorer XP. In fact, I have them both on my system right
now.

I can't bring myself to stop using 2xExplorer. It's just too good. ;-)

I very much agree, it was my default for about 5 years so far. BUT, there's one
issue I have that Nikos never saw, so no fix.
Every so often, I accidently click *something* (I wish I knew) in the upper area
of a view pane, and suddenly I have a 2 pane 2XExplorer! The only way to get the 3
panes back is to delete a key is the registry, reboot, run 2X again, and reset all
preferences. That is VERY annoying, and it happened this AM, so I will try X2 and
see if it's any better.

Any comment on this?
