Hello All -

Our print shop area has an HP 840c DeskJet Printer connected to an NT
4 Workstation via parallel cable that they use for printing UPS
reports. Every time they try to print, an error window appears almost
instantly saying that the printer has timed out trying to print the
document, but the document (usually) prints. I suspected a bad cable,
but swapping it with a new one did no good. Any thoughts on where I
should turn next?

Sincerely,

Mike Simone

Have you tried reinstalling the printer driver?

XNokia_3390x -

That seemed to clear it up, but getting access to the drivers was the
hard part - we don't technically own the machine.

Thanks,

Mike
