a special renamer ?

Hi!
I'm looking for some renamer app that could do a special job :

I have plenty of files with the same name in a tree of folders and
subfolders. I'd like to put all those files in the same folder (so they
must have different names).

I have that :
FOLDER
SUB1
file.doc
SUB2
file.doc
SUB3
file.doc
....
SUBxxx
file.doc

and I want (something like) that :
FOLDER
SUB1
SUB2
SUB3
....
SUBxxx
file1.doc
file2.doc
file3.doc
....
filexxx.doc

Any idea ?

prefer Flex... :-})
