Hi There:
Just wondering if there is some helping hands to an
amateur computer user. Somehow a software was downloaded
without letting me approved and this software also pop-up
some sex and casino promotion to me. They changed my MSN
Home page to their home page, as follows:

http://M32295.wfix.com/passthrough/index.html?/http://MSN.
.....

When I changed my home page to MSN, then they changed
again to another similar one, instead of M32295.wfix.com
NOW ti http://J28890.wfix.com/passthrough/index.html?
http://MSN......

When I go to my System Properties. They even changed the
name of my computer in FULL COMPUTER NAME: user-
1ur060a42f.J8286.wfix.com

Is there anyone who have the knowledge to help me to get
ride of this software by removal of it (I don't know the
name of this software as I tried to look at it from the
ADD/REMOVAL of softwares). I don't want to be controlled
by this softwares and also even give me a name they
wanted me to be called at. I tried to call myself a
different name but not allowed!!

Please Please Please. Anyone who can help me??

Thanks in advance.

H.

My Friend --You have been Hi-Jacked! AND you are not
alone in your dilemma, this happened to me back in
Dec.2002---Get Spybot S&D absolutely Free..go to
www.spywareinfo.com the have the download link there,
*Note* when you install it there is a new Immunize
feature that will disable your ability to use Internet
settings on the Tools menu. There is a Immunize Icon on
the Left click on that and on the scroll down menu at the
very bottom there is a place to check 'Recommended
Settings' uncheck Lock IE control panel --IF you want to
access the Internet Options tool.. Spybot S&D is a god-
send it will block 'most' of the Spyware,Hi-
Jacking, keyloggers, and Cookie Trojans from invading your
life!!!--and remove all the 'CRUD'from your system, a
friend's PC was sluggish, I helped them get Spybot S&D
used it and there were over 200 items on that PC!! It
removed them all, some need to re-boot and run again to
completely remove...P.S. Good Luck and "READ THE
TUTORIAL" "AND ALL 'ULA' info. BEFORE you Accept!"
