Hi corbett :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Go to Tools> Internet Options> Advanced.
Check "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Hope this helps :-)

Is it the tiny size or the opening in a new window that bothers you? If it is
the new window, then Jan Il's advice may help (it won't affect links that are
coded with a specified "target"). If it is just the size that is the
annoyance, adjust the browser window to the size desired, then close that
window LAST. When you restart IE, that size should be remembered. If after
restarting IE you subsequently maximize the window, the previously set window
size will be retained.

The tiny window syndrome is often due to pop-unders that occur during a
browsing session. When you go to shut down, they typically get closed last
(since you didn't notice them earlier)... thus, the pop-under window size
gets "remembered."

Hi corbett :-)

I'm not sure this will work, but, you might give it a try:

For XP:

In Windows Explorer go to View > Folder Options > General> under Browser
Folders>check the box next to "Open each folder in the same window", and the
other is Unchecked. Then click OK and OK out.

For others try:

In Windows Explorer >Go to View >Folder Options >View >Explorer Options
remove check mark beside "Open Every Explorer Instance In A New Window"
then click Apply then OK.

Hope this helps :-)
