Hi! I am completely inexperienced with Access with only workable knowledge.
I am using Access 2000 to create membership rosters for a gym club. I am
currently trying to create a report from a small table that includes only 16
records. My report should include all of the records, but show only certain
fields. My problem is that for some reason only some of the records are
being included. I am hesitant to start all over since every time, requires a
certain amount of finessing in the design view to make me satisfied, and I
don't want to go through all of that again (for the now, third time) if I can
avoid it.

Any ideas for what I am missing, would be gratefully appreciated!

Mahalo,

If the report runs from a query then run the query and check that all of the
records are shown there. If not then there may be a problem with your query
design. If it is run from a table then it may be due to some relationships
between tables.

Hope this helps

I am running the report from a table. However, I have managed to get all of
the records to show up. I don't know the source of the trouble. I do know
that it seems to happen frequently in "layout" preview, but usually (not
always) it will show up properly in "print preview." I am sure I have
*something* marked incorrectly to cause this, but as I said, I am a newbie at
Access. Thanks for your reply though!!!

Don't worry as it does not show the correct view all of the time in layout
preview for some reason. It doesn't actually query the database until it is
put into preview view.
