I have nortons internet security 05. I know its not the best security and am
wondering if any one can suggest an alternative to where I can go to a web
site and someone else do a virus scan directly from their web site . And also
a spyware scan. I have "defender" but as you probley already know its BETA
and that kinda worries me. I feel I need a backup plan for both virus and
spyware protection. And I want to double check nortons and the defender work!!
Any suggestions would be appreciated very much ... Thank You

Go to the Safety Tips page on my website: www.stopmalware.tk and read
through them. While the detailed explanations and many tips may seem
intimidating, it will be worth it in the end. But here is a direct answer to
your question:
1. Go to the downloads page of my website and get either AVG Free Edition or
AntiVir. Check up weekly (or monthly) on your computer by going to several
free online scanners such as Trend Micro's Housecall or Panda's online
scanner.
2. Check the anti-spyware section on the downloads page for three other
effective, powerful, and free anti-spyware programs to keep your computer
seucre from spyware.

Thanx Elendil...ILL check it out
