Hi,
I've got a real problem on my hands (doesn't everyone?). I'm connected
to broadband through my other computer however after some failed and rolled
back windows security updates I've found that no web browser is working.
I've checked all connections, hardware, and network configurations and
everything is in order. I've contacted my ISP and they scratched their heads
in befuddlement and said it can't be any of the above, and even explorer is
supposedly working.
I can retrieve my IP address, ping websites from the command prompt, access
the iTunes webstore, and even transmit files over the network.
However, pulling up internet explorer, I cannot access any websites.
I tried rolling back the install of the latest version of Norton, but alas,
I need to be able to access the microsoft intaller update from the internet
to do that, and since I can't get to the web I'm up the creek without a
paddle.
i'm down to my last shred of sanity, can anyone help me figure out what is
going on? Thanks!
