A rant about Word

You know, for all its power, Word can drive somebody over the edge.
In no other application that I know of would it be possible to search
for a word, not find it, then locate the word with your very eyes, put
the cursor ahead of the word, then search for the work
(successfully). I kid you not. In no other application. Word has
unbelievably powerful features, but hopelessly unreliable/
unpredictable.

If Word doesn't find a word, it's probably because formatting or other
options have been specified in the Find and Replace dialog box. Click the
More button to see all options of the dialog box. Make sure that nothing is
selected that you don't want selected. In particular, make use of the No
Formatting button if necessary.
