But all my life people of a certain age have been saying things aren't as good as they were in the old days... :confused:
 
I'm not saying things were better in the old days.

YOU may not Sir but a helluva lotta people do.

What irks me the most is folks my age and even people ten years or so younger spouting on like old folk, they are saying those things me Mum & Dad used to say :(

I say to them: 'Quite bellyachin'! There is really a great deal in common with now as then'

As the above proves ;)
