I've used PowerPoint 2002 for over a year now, but I just
found that toolbar buttons or menu items can be easily moved
by holding down ALT and then dragging the item to its new location.
Previously, I thought that this could only be done by right-clicking
the menu, selecting "Customize," and then working with it
that way. Learning something new every day... heh heh heh...

Hope this info is useful for any PPT and Office XP users out
there...

And if you get too carried away and "ALT-drag" it off a toolbar, it is gone!
To recover, right-click the toolbar area, click "Customize (at bottom),
click the "Toolbars" TAB, select the menu or toolbar that got messed up, and
click the "Reset" button.

Or removed entirely by ALT+Dragging them and letting 'em go OFF a toolbar.
Main menu bar items too.

And if you decide you really hate the New Look, View, Toolbars, Customize,
Toolbars tab, Reset.

I, too, just learned a quick tip, unrelated to PPT, but cool anyway. When
using internet explorer, you can simply type the name of a web site in the
location box then hit control +enter, the www and the .com are added
instantly.
