I keep getting this when trying to connect to a remote
machine using remote assistance. I ran gpedit.msc and
added every possible user or group to the offer remote
assistance policy I could think of and still no luck.
This fails on many of our machines, but not all
 
Usually happens if both parties have their firewalls on
and perhaps a third party app that is configured to "not
allow" this type of takeover of your OS. Keep smiling.

It has something to do with GhostWalker. I flashed this
machine back to original config using ghost but didn't
use GhostWalker to change the SID/computer name. I
simply removed the machine from the domain and then added
it back in after renaming it, and then remote assistance
worked. Thanks for your response.
