A problem

Nate

I had to reconfig my HD recently and I've run into a
problem. None of my video wants to work. Direct draw,
directx nothing. They're all there and fine but no
program can detect them. I've tried everything I can
think of.......even going to far as to reinstall them
all. I'm sure it's probably something really easy that
I've overlooked. Anyway, I'm not sure if this is the
correct place to post this at but any help whatsoever
would be greatly appreciated. If you have any advice on
the matter, please send it to (e-mail address removed).

Thank you in advance,

Nate

I have a similar problem after some work with my hard
drive. I can get the video drivers to all work but the
only method I have found successful so far is to to go to
the Device Manager and 'uninstall' the video driver.
Once this is done, I then do a 'Add new hardware' and the
video card is then found and works fine till I shut
down. Once I turn the machine back on again I am back in
the same stew. DxDiag tells me I have loaded generic
video drivers and I need to install the correct factory
drivers.

It's very frustrating because every time I turn on the
computer I have to reload the drivers before I can run
any program demanding intense video.
