Alright, Here's my situation.

I have three computers hooked up to a router connected to
a DSL modem. Two of the computers are running win XP and
one is running Win 2000 Prof. The two that are running win
XP can't enter the one running win 2000 prof because of a
username and password. I didn't set any passwords yet.
Does anyone know where I need to go to disable this
password. I'm a little stumped at something so stupid, but
I'll aappreciate it. Either how to disable it, otherwise
how to change it will be alright. Thanks

Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers (W2K/XP's). Got File- and printersharing loaded? Is
Netbios over TCP/IP enabled (Advanced properties of TCP/IP, tab WINS)?

How do I ensure that all useraccounts exist on all
computers in the workgroup? My three machines use W2K Pro,
NT4sp6 and W98. They're connected via a router. NN sees
them, but it wants a password.

Well, not to be a smart ass (not sure if I can help that, anyway) but why
not just set up valid accounts on the Win2KP system for the XP systems?
