A problem with the save feature....

Before I installed Word Tools I was able to modify a document and then
it the save button and it would save. I uninstalled Word Tools and now
I have a problem with the save feature. It will only save when I close
the document and it won't if i hit the save button. Is there a setting
somewhere that I should check?
 
Word tools? What Word tools?

If "Word Tools" is an add-in then I'd say it is intercepting your Save
command and that's why it no longer functions.

If you remove the add-in does your Save command return?
