I have a problem when I'm listening to some Internet radio stations. When I
minimize them to the task bar and try to log on to another web site, I lose
the Internet radio station and have trouble accessing the web site I am
trying to log on to. Can anyone tell me how I can solve this problem?

My operating system is Windows XP Professional Edition. My firewall is
Norton Personal Firewall 2003 and my antivirus software is AVG Antivirus 6.0
Free edition.

I would consider looking into the quality of your internet connection.

Does the fact that my Internet access is through a WEP encrypted wireless
router affect things (The host computer that I am networked to gets its
Internet access through a cable modem from Adelphia Power Link.)?

Not knowing the specifics of WEP encrypted wireless routers, I can only say
that your symptoms sound like low connection speed. Streaming radio stations
use varying amounts of bandwidth and require a constant connection. Trying
to access additional internet sites while the stream is playing could
interrupt it and cause problems.

Will the network setup allow multiple simutaneous connections? It just
ocurred to me that perhaps it will not support that or it may not be setup
properly. (starting to talk out of my ass here and will shut up now)

How do I check if my network setup will allow simultaneous connects?
