Indeed. I'd especially recommend the 'Learning to use the mouse' demo. It
will make anyone feel like an advanced level geek. ;-)
Funny sidebar:
Decades ago one of the things I was asked to do was teach employees
some basic computer skills. I also trained people in the field in
another non computer related area.
This one lady while a sharp dresser, quite striking in appearance and
with a outgoing personality was sadly as dumb as a turnip. You always
had to repeat things two, three, five, ten times even, but she was a
"friend" of the boss, if you know what I mean, so couldn't get rid of
her.
One day I asked her to meet me somewhere. I even wrote down detailed
instructions including which exit to take to get off the expressway
for all the good it did. The address was on XXXX East some road. And I
made it clear to get off on exit so and so. She comes up to the street
and has two exits to pick from one said WEST on XXXX the other EAST on
XXXX. She takes the EAST exit confusing it with the correct West exit
I told her take. I'm waiting out in front of the Hotel I told her to
meet me at. About twenty minutes goes by and finally I see her car go
flying past, she still didn't have a clue where she was. How you can
miss a 12 story hotel beats me. Anyway, a few minutes later I see her
coming back from the opposite direction. This time she sees me, slams
on the brakes almost causing the driver behind her to rear end her and
without looking drives over a fairly high concrete center highway
divider scraping the front end of her car in the process then parks in
a no parking zone.
Sometimes people NEED very simple instructions, even then it don't
always help everyone. Not suggesting anybody like that here. ;-)
