A new Earth like planet

New planet similar to Earth..OH WAIT it's 500 Light years away. Boooo

In case you are wondering how far that is. Light travels in a vacuum (space) approx 186,000miles a second that equates to almost 6 Trillion miles (5,878,000,000) a year, multiply that by 500

it beats me how they can see it ... but I also know, by the time the light from that planet has reached us, it also will be 490 light years old, therefore may not even exist.

I honestly believe in the deep dark corners of certain government departments this is all being worked out and funded and huge progress is being made if not already developed

I truly believe other races exist, some bad, some good, some watching over us

But we won't go down that road in this thread
