a new CWS in town

I feel you should know there is a new CWS.AdvLoad.400 and this one is a nasty
one to say the leats.It appears to be bundleing with a whole array of very
nast files counted 16 so far .They are DNS changer trojans,if you get this
one there is no mistake.It sets 5 windows or small web pages if you will on
the right hand side of your desktop. this nasty also has a close button on
the bottom.However if you close it the desktop becomes non functional. All
icons are un startable, the taskbar will not respond.I worked on this for 12
ghours before getting rid of it.I hoever am sure that there are remnants
left.This program shaned 12 processes and loaded 4 trojans. I found one
program that was able to get rid of it and only in safe mode . This program
was the ewido security suite . This can be found at
www.ewido.com this is not an advertisement this is just a program that
works. Norton could not even see it except for the trojans but it did not
stop or quarantee them . Norton 2004 failed miserably, Microsoft anti spy
ware didnt even see it which leads me to believe all the viruses are new. I
also feel that the author of these lillte hate programs when found should
have their names addresses and telephone numbers posted .Since they appear to
be so very proud of their handywork , we should be allowed to congratulate
them for the inconvenience and hardships for ad ware that I promise you I
would never buy anything from any advertiser they have forced me to look at.
Any comments I would enjoy hearing from any of you fine people especially
Microsoft engineers
 
Most CWS versions aren't detected by Norton and Microsoft Antispyware or any
other stupid because their creators have though of creating them as they pass
by these security softwares.

By the way ,I doubt you'll find any MS engineers here!
These are public newsgroups that are just hosted on Microsoft servers so
that we -volunteers- help the others who need help :)

Thanks for the alert. Submitting Suspected Spyware reports, if possible,
from a machine with this infection will help.

If you know where you got the infection, pass that information on to
(e-mail address removed).
