A nasty surprise awaits some holidaymakers when they return to Stansted airport, where a fire has wrecked about 24 cars in the long-stay carpark :( Story and pics.
 
OUCH!! I just read some of the comments. I wonder if there are any sings or small print saying owners leave their cars at their own risk ? Insurers are going to have a field day with this one :D
 
Most long stay at Gatwick is outside the wire so less of a security issue.
That said it may depend on who owns it/runs it & what liability they have!
 
Theres bound to be 1 or 2 that are not even insured...Thats gonna sting em..:eek:
 
They are not sure which car started the blaze, however a report of a single car on fire was wrote about?

Erm CCTV? Reg plate? = Owner

Not frigging rocket science is it

I do feel sorry for the people coming home from holiday,tired,sweaty,sad at coming home,only to find their car just a scrap of metal.
