A lost Computer Aministrator Password

Besides re-installing XP Pro....is there anyway to get in
to Windows, i.e DOS so i can delete the account who set
and then died a password ???

Have you tried to log on with the original Administrator user:

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:

Windows XP is not based on MS-DOS, therefore there is no
DOS to boot into.
