When I start my computer, XPSP2 w/fast ethernet, I sometimes must wait 10
minutes before getting a connection. Thgis is often displayed: "This
connection has limited or no connectivity. You might not be able to access
the Internet or some network resources." After I do connect, it's good for as
long as the computer is powered up. Is my machine at fault? Thanks,

See if David Browne's tip about eliminating autodial sites helps you.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie...19a1&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-US

BTW thanks also to Chris for posting a reminder about this tip.

Also I would be curious to know if the following command lists
anything for your (in a command window) and if you see your problem
sites there.

rasautou -s

Note: if the list is too big you could filter it with a pipeline e.g.

rasautou -s | find /i "sitename"

or capture it in a file and browse it more conventionally

rasautou -s >autodial.txt
notepad autodial.txt

etc.

Good luck
