A Little Help - Power Point With Music And Voice Comments

Do not know if I am pushing the edge of Power Point or not.

Would like to generate a slide show to go on a CD or a DVD (different paths
for different media????)

Would like to have continuous music play during the show; however, I would
like to have individual voice comments for each slide.

Be this a real job.

How about if I drop the music and just stick with individual slide voice
comments.

Want to control the slides (i.e.) backward and forward.

Am I pushing the edge of the envelope.

Someone in need.
 
Probably music and narration together might sound a little confused? Maybe if
the music was quiet.

If you add music as a transition sound on slide 1 and narration as a linked
mp3 most systems will play both together. Does'nt usually work with both
sounds embedded wavs though.

You can get forward and back navigation by adding the corresponding action
buttons to the slide master

Does the presentation have lots of animation or would a simple series of images
do the job? And do you mean to have it play on a TV or on a computer (or need
it to do either?)
 
Dear SomeOne,

Do you have audio editing software? If so, you can adjust the volume to,
perhaps, be full strength at the start, then fade down and eventually out
once the voice over begins. You can always bring it back up at the close of
your slide show.

Anyway, you can do as you've described quite successfully in PPT. The format
of your music, however, determines how you link or embed it to play for the
duration of your slide show (and how you package said slide show for
delivery). Same goes for the voice over. Can you tell me what format your
music and voice over is in?

Also, which version of PPT do you use?
