a GREAT Menu-creation product? Recommendation?

I am really struggling with the conceptto create DHTML menus. This really
can't be this difficult, or is it?

Is there a decent product/add-on out there that can do this in an easier
fashion? I'm thinking something like COOL MENUS -- which actually doesn't
work very well and their support WEB SITE no longer works, not to mention
that their latest upgrade 1.4(which refuses to download) is over 2 years old.
They don't appear to support this anymore.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
