No, Win Seven only if you have money and time to waste. Seven is just a
Vista copy in disguise.
While Win 7 looks and feels much like Vista, it isn't. In my testing
it is leaner, meaner, runs faster, is very stable, and has most if not
all what Vista had problems with fixed. The thing going around that Win
7 is what Vista should have been, isn't far fetched. If Vista, or XP for
that matter until it finally expires, works for a person then no, don't
bother spending time and money. If you are ready to UPGRADE, then by all
means go for it. I have Vista Ultimate, and while I have had few
problems with it, I am liking Win 7 much better.
I am mostly disappointed that Microsoft didn't adopt more Compiz/OSX
LIKE effects, but what they did do is OK. I'll never understand why they
won't even write in hot corners for things like Flip 3D, but the third
party add-on I use works fine. I also would have preferred a GUI
overhaul so it DOESN'T look and feel like Vista, but I guess that would
have been too much to ask for. Whatever I guess, it still operates MUCH
better than Vista, so I'm happy for that anyway.
G'day
