I'm currently using The PC Support Handbook by David Dick (2001).
And have thought of getting Upgrading & Repairing PC's by Scott Mueller.
Happy to pay for one but not sure which book to get, does anyone use a different book?

I thought you were already pretty good with PC's??

Don't tell me all your pearls of wisdom on here have been plagiarised from books!

Sometimes like to double check my facts before advising on a subject or matter.

Aren't all of us guilty of this at some point..??MAybe not books, but the web for sure...:p

A professional acknowledges he doesn't doesn't everything, however a professional knows the best way of finding out.

The amount of MS Books, media etc I got here is insane.
It's often quicker to "Google It" than to search through my local resources.

The only time I really double check what I do nowdays is when
a) editing the registry
b) playing with core files
c) anything that could cause great financial loss (company records etc)
