can some one recommend a good PC game?
i was thinkin something like
FarCry
Battlefield 2
er...and other games :D (suggestions?)

out of all of them which one would you chose?
 
Battlefield 2 is excellent! I'm going to get that soon myself :)

I've played the demo and seen it running and it looks even better than BF1942!
 
seen it, not played it but SWAT 4 looks a good game...

world of war craft.... once you get into it i hear it is good ;)

and farcry is a wicked game :D
 
FPS: Far Cry, UT 2004, Half Life 2, Call Of Duty, Battlefield 2, SWAT 4, Doom 3 (all in order, 1 is best)

Driving: Colin Mcrae 2005

Strategy: Warhammer 40, 000: Dawn Of War, Command And Conquer Genrals, Warcraft 3, Ground Control 2, Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth

Online: Americas Army (free from here) and Guild Wars (Online RPG, No montly subscription)

Misc: Max Payne 2, Splinter Cell 3, Football Manager 2005, Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Tiger Woods 2005, Freedom Force Vs 3rd Reich

Anyone with a decent spec'd comp shoulda played at least 90% of them games ;).
 
At the moment I'm working my way through HL2 and Lego Star Wars :D

The Star Wars game is great, very addictive ;) My brother has just finished playing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and loved it (it's a bit more manly than the Lego one!)

this is definetly one of the best games on the PC for a very very long time!

I played that kept getting stuck though but persevered and thought it was a great game...:D

Farcry is one hell of an excellent game and so is Call of Duty....
 
lets see... im definitly interested in Farcry, battlefield 2, Splinter cell 3
out of those 3 which would you take?
also does anyone know if the Logitech MX510 mouse a good buy?

i dont know if its the same model
but i went to this pc shop last week

the geezer was showing me the ULTIMATE GAMING MOUSE
it was a logitech one
and he said it had laser init! the accuracy he said was unbeleivable!
and the price well it was up for £30 which is around $50

so if its the same one you are looking at one of the best mice of all time!

great for a gamer!
 
its about the same price here, would you recommend it?
 
Logi MX510 is a good mouse, but the ultimate mouse atm is the Logi MX1000, that's the laser model.

PSD, if the geezer in PC World offered you the MX1000 laser mouse for £30.00 - buy it. It normally costs around £50.00

As for games, imo Half Life 2 is the best game ever, closely followed by Far Cry, and I'd agree with most of what reefsmoka recommended and I may just try San Andreas myself.

Is it a stand alone game, San Andreas? You don't need GTA 3 to play it, do you?

Which wouldn't actually be a prob, cos I got that, but I just wondering.
 
been on belloni's computer and he has the logitechMX1000...

its a great mouse ... fits my hand perfect .... u can get them for around £30 on ebay ... so i would try there!

as soon as i get my new computer.. i am deffo going to get one :) along with a new set of speakers! (yes ! i just blown the bass on my others!! :( )

Yep, I don't like any of those games, I don't like stealth, gets me stomach in a knot.

I like them go in all guns blazing, in ya face kinda games :D

I know, I have no class whatsoever :eek:
 
i though i was like that, until i played the first splinter cell.
i love that game :)
 
I just Downloaded the Battlefield2 Demo and played one level and i can honestly say that i liked the terrain and general graphics and the plot of the game........


But i'm still not sure, the teamplay wasn't up to much and i kept getting sniped which means i had to be very slow and stealthy, all that just killed the gameplay for me because it didn't flow enough...In Call of Duty you could just do your own thing...but i felt i was being herded around the terrain with no real control on my part....:(

Maybe its just me but i won't be parting with nearly 40 notes for this game...I think i'll wait around six to nine months and get it at bargain basement price when newer games supercede it...

Don't get me wrong i think its a good game, just not a fantastic game....;)
 
GTA SAN ANDREAS all the way

been playing it

its great
its a big big game lots to do!
still want to fly an aeroplane tho!:(
