Anyone know of one?
Best book i've read so far is Simon Robinson's Wrox
Professional C# book but the ASP.NET chapter is weak, i'm
looking for something more detailed, any suggestions?

Try Programming Microsoft .NET by Jeff Prosise, despite its
title is focused mainly on ASP.NET

If you can pick stuff up quickly and after you have the basics of .NET and
maybe a little ASP.NET, I recommend Amit Kalani's 70-315, it's very
streamlined but readable and effective (tutorial style), perfect even if you
have no interest in certification. This book gets all good reviews.

I like three:
Jeff Prosise "Programming Microsoft .NET"
Fritz Onion "Essential ASP.NET"
Dino Esposito "Programming ASP.NET"

from wrox:
professional asp.net
professional c#
professional ado.net

or:
asp.net unleashed

Believe me msdn.microsoft.com , and this newsgroups are the best way to learn ASP.NET and solve problems

.

Thanks for everyones suggestions I certainly have
something to research and things to look at.
Even though I love this community I want the book so I'm
not such a strain on this usegroup, in regards to ASP.NET
(and probably in regard to the fat client coding too) i've
been asking so many questions and I need to know so much
more to stand a chance of having a reasonable conversation
about it.
Hopefully this book will help me even out my giving and
taking of advice here, or at least I hope so.
