For an Assessment that I have to do on Access 2002, I have made a welcome screen which is just a form, and then I want to place a button on the form so that when I click it, it closes it self, and also opens the switchboard
I have seen this done on the welcome screen of the Northwind sample database that came with my copy on Office Pro XP
I was hoping that some one konw how to do this, Thanks.

Peter -not running 2002 but should be about the same.
in Northwind click Tools> Startup>display form to see how the startup form
is designated to open .
Then open the startup form in design view - click view>properties and look
at the event tab
look at the code behind the on open and on startup events to see how it is
done...
