Trying to advance my SP skellimancer through Act3 Hell, I was a bit
stuck in Kurast. First I had to retreat from upper Kurast because of a
couple of champion cantors which were healing each other faster than my
bunch could damage them. In the next game, I found the waypoint of upper
Kurast, but the monsters were still too hard. Another try at least took
my necro to Travincal (the waypoint is close to the causeway).
But upper Kurast wasn't yet fully explored. I decided to do it, and the
two temples. One temple had a cold and a lightning aura boss on top of
each other. I had to collect my merc and a full set of new skellies,
until I could dispose of them. No interesting finds, though.
Then there were the sewers still to be done. They had preserved bodies,
feeders and a good deal of undead soul killers (boss included) inside.
Still, it was doable.
Using the four stairs, one inevitably gets into the Bazar, too. I didn't
want to do it again, but close to one of the stairs was one of these
composite buildings, two separate rooms to the left, and two adjacent
rooms to the right, and it was humming inside. Hell swarms. I didn't
want them in my back when returning with loot, and so I sent my army
against them.
The hell swarms weren't alone in there. There was a Sexton and several
faithfuls, too.
And one faithful dropped an armour. Hm. Golden Russet armour.
I never would have dreamt that one fine day, after three years of
playing, I would finally see a real skullders.
Now the question: which character should wear it - or is it something a
merc should dress in?
