a few problems

We have recently bought a computer and my computer has
received a virus and therefore we reinstalled windows XP.
Before we reinstalled windows XP, our audio card was
working properly, but now the audio card doesn't seem to
work. And also, our VDG card has disappeared.
what happened?

You failed to say wether you re-installed the S/card's
drivers again, I know XP picks up most stuff but it may be
worth a go.

btw, what's a VDG card? Video card? When you say
disappeared do you mean it no longer shows in the
properties?
