I have three questions on how to change the setting over my standalone XP
PC.

1. How to disable the security logon panel when you're getting into XP?

2. How to remove the MSN Messenger?

3. I have a small hard drive (3.25", I believe it is also used in the
notebook). I can use USB to connect to a Pentium PC but not to an AMD.
When I connect to the AMD PC, on the Device Manager, a question mark showed
on "USB Mass Storage Device". Is this the machine problem or Windows
setting issues?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have three questions on how to change the setting over my
standalone XP PC.

1. How to disable the security logon panel when you're getting into
XP?

Logon without a password:
1. Go to Start - Run and type: control userpasswords2 and press enter.

2. On the Users tab, left click your user name then clear the Users Must
Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer check box and then
click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the "user
name and password" for the account you want to be logged on each time
you start your computer.

Note: If you want to logon to one of the other users, hold down shift as
the system boots up.
2. How to remove the MSN Messenger?

Additional info on #2 and #3:

2) If SP2 is installed, messenger can be removed through the control
panel/add & remove/windows components.

3) It's a system issue:
