A:Drive Error

I don't have a floppy drive, but when I turned on my computer it said Device Configuration Change. A: Drive ERROR. I'm running on Windows XP and I've never had this problem before. I'm sure I didn't hit any buttons on start up, since I left the room to check something else. Also my date and times were all reset. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

... sounds like the CMOS battery has died/failed, they don't last forever.

you will need to check your CMOS/BIOS settings, like disabling the A drive as you don't have one., and checking other settings are correct for your hardware.
