Manny people get confused her, so allow me to give some background
information first:
A cda file something windows creates on the fly when you insert a Music cd.
if yo check the properties of the file, you wil discover it is only 44
bytes. Windows creates this file to:
1) allowing you to see the CD is not empty
2) allowing you to see how many tracks there are on the cd
3) allowing a program (or rather the cd player routines) to see where on the
cd a track starts and ends.
But now to the question I suppose you wanted to be answered: how do I get my
MP3 on a normal CD?
Well it is simple: you'll have to convert them back to *.WAV format. Toda,
many CD-burning packages can accept your MP3-files and conver them to Wav
files them selfs (You you don;t need to take that extra step)
BurnForFree <
http://www.burn4free.com/> accepts MP3, MP2, MP1, WAV, OGG and
WMA audio
DeepBurner <
http://www.deepburner.com/> accepts MP3, Wav and OGG audio
there might be others, but I know of the above.
When you use thes programs, be sure to select the burn audio cd option (or
the files will be added as windows files)
If you want to convert your mp3's to wav files manualy, you can use Winamp,
go to the preferences and select "waveOut output" from the output plug-in
section.
CDEX is also capable of converting MP3 files back to wav files.
Hope you know enoug now (or post a reply
)
