A connection to the server could not be established.

M$ Lover [sic]

Outlook 2002 on W2K 1g RAM, 20gig HD free.
This program takes so long to load it is ridiculous!
Everytime I start this piece of junk I get the error:
A connection to the server could not be established.
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp is now
in offline mode. My other mail accounts that are not
hotmail show as errors but they seem to recover and I do
get to send and receive mail, whoopee.
What are some things I can do to speed this bloatware up?
Is it reading archive folders or something? I seem to
spend alot of time dealing with Outlook
shortcomings/workarounds/training (it's got all the bells
and whistles therefore, the bloatware label)

Now that you've gone and made new friends.... :-)

Have you tried deleting and re-adding in the Hotmail service?
