Hi,all
I have two computers, for passing the mcse exams, I use them to test the
practices.
The role of one is DC, and another is client. I use UTP5 to connect them,
but i found
both of their NIC just sent datapack , even never received any data, THe
detail setting
as following:

computer1(DC) - ip:192.168.168.1 subnet:255.255.255.128 OS:win2k srv
computer2 - ip:192.168.168.2 subnet:255.255.255.128 DNS:192.168.168.1
OS:WInXP

If your connecting the cable direct from one computer to the other, then it
needs to be a cross-over cable.

If you don't have a cross-over cable, then you can plug the computers into a
small 4 port hub.

Yes, Im sure its a cross-over cable. I used it to connect two computers
directly several times but this time.
