Greetings. I had my XP-Pro running on a 700MHz Intel
Celeron system until recently. Then I invested in a P4-
3.06GHz system, Intel desktop Board D845PESV and a gForce4
MX440-8X AGP 128 MB VRAM video card. My next step is to
install the XP-Pro in my new hardware. I've already backed-
up "My Documents" and All instable downloads. How ever I
don't know how to backup the 5 profiles logged in the
system nor the Norton's downloads upgrades, including the
XP security downloaded updates. Is there any way to save
or backup these downloaded data? I understand that maybe
I'll have to install from scratch. Is there any way I can
use the old XP installation and just set it up with the
new hardware? Is there any "setup" I can use to install XP
freshly but keep my profile and other downloaded
installations, or do I have to Intall it ALL over again?

Open help & support » type in ASR » should do what you want. BTW it copies everything that is on the system drive except the OS. There is also the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.
